'Widows' War' reveals identity of Paco's killer
Spoiler warning for those who have not yet watched the latest episode!
"Widows' War" just made a big reveal on Thursday's episode!
After the death of Paco Palacios (Rafael Rosell), an investigation was conducted to find out the identity of his killer.
Many of the characters think that his wife, Sam Castillo (Bea Alonzo) did it, but there was not enough evidence against her.
When Sam's family is about to leave the Palacios Estate, Paco's cousin Rebecca (Rita Daniela) begged her to stay and help him get justice, insisting that he was killed.
Rebecca was later taken away by servants, but Sam lingered on the door and spotted the umbrella rack. That was when she recalled what really happened the night Paco died.
It turned out that she and Paco were having an argument near the cliff, and when things got rough, Sam pushed Paco using the umbrella she was holding.
Before she left the Palacios estate, she received a call from an unknown number telling her that he knew what really happened.
It was Paco's other cousin Basil (Benjamin Alves), who asked Sam to meet him for a brief chat. He then told her that he has a video of the altercation between Sam and Paco.
He told Sam he will not leak the video, but asked her for something in exchange: to kill someone for him. When she asked him who, he said the one person who makes his life more difficult.
Sam guessed that it would be Aurora (Jean Garcia), his aunt and Paco's mother, but she was wrong. Instead, it was his own wife and Sam's ex-best friend, George (Carla Abellana).
In the preview for the next episode, Sam is shown to be staying in the Palacios estate, as she stands to inherit her husband's shares in the Palacios's mining company.
Directed by Zig Dulay, "Widows' War" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Black Rider."
