Arci Muñoz recalls stolen card incident during flight

Arci Muñoz looked back on the time when her card was allegedly stolen by another passenger while she was on a plane ride back to Manila.

On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Arci said that the case has not yet been resolved to this day.

"What happened was I came from Japan, connecting flight, so may layover in Korea for like three hours and I [hung] out with my friends the night before, so I only had a couple of hours of sleep. Tapos po, when I was in the plane, so I usually—kasi nasa business class ka, so feeling ko naman walang gagalaw nun," she said.

Arci said she left her bag in her plane cubicle, knowing that flight attendants are always roaming around the aircraft.

"Nung pa-land na, there was a kind lady beside me, and she asked me, 'Do you know this guy?' And I was like, 'No. I don't know him.' And then I saw my bag in the aisle. It was already in the aisle. And then [she] approached the guy…'Why did you touch her bag?" she said.

"Siyempre kagigising ko lang. Medyo naalimpungatan ako, 'What's happening?'" she continued.

While they were talking to airplane staff, she checked her bag

"I only checked po 'yung card holder ko. Hindi po ako nagwa-wallet eh. It was there, my passport's there. 'Yun pala he took one of my cards na I didn't notice 'til I got back sa Manila," she said.

Arci called the bank, but she said they only told her that it was her negligence.

"Sabi ko, 'No. It was stolen,'" she said.

She also reported the incident to the airline, but they didn't get back to her, adding that her card had transactions in Vietnam and Jakarta in one day.

Arci also posted about the incident on her TikTok in November last year, warning viewers that it is "a dangerous world out there."
