Katrina Halili, Philip Salvador return to 'Black Rider' ahead of finale week

Katrina Halili and Philip Salvador are back on the set of "Black Rider" just in time for its upcoming finale week.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Katrina said that she is super happy to be back.

"Yes, I'm back, 'di ba? Romana is back. Nakakatuwa na kasali ako sa huling laban ng 'Black Rider' at tutulong ako kay Elias. Happy, sobrang happy. Na-miss ko sila," Katrina said.

Philip, who plays the role of Mariano, is grateful to be reunited with Ruru Madrid.

"Ako, happy ako talaga. I am grateful na nagkasama tayo being your mentor sa 'Protégé.' Isipin mo 14 years old ito nung kinuha ko at sabi ko sa kaniya, 'Magiging action star ka. Alam kong gagaling ka,'" Philip said.

The veteran action star continued, "Always be humble. Always look back where you came from. Ilapat mo palagi ang mga paa mo sa lupa. Hinding hindi ka magkakamali sa patutunguhan mo."

In "Black Rider," Ruru stars as delivery rider Elias Guerrero, who has turned into a hero helping those in need and fighting for justice for his family and community.

"Black Rider" won a bronze medal from New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. It is the only entertainment program from GMA Network that was recognized, along with six documentaries and special reports from GMA Public Affairs and GMA Integrated News.

"Black Rider" begins its finale week on July 22 on GMA Prime.
