'Pulang Araw' official trailer is now here!

The official trailer for "Pulang Araw" is finally here!

On Tuesday, Netflix dropped the 90-second video giving more glimpses into the lives of the upcoming series' main characters.

The short clip showed that even before World War II started, the lives of Adelina Dela Cruz (Barbie Forteza) and Eduardo Dela Cruz (Alden Richards) have always been tough, having a bad relationship with the mother of Teresita Borromeo (Sanya Lopez).

Just like previous teaser videos, the trailer was also packed with moving lines from characters, including David Licauco's "Mamamatay akong may dangal kaysa mamatay akong isang sinungaling."

Last week, "Pulang Araw" introduced the full cast of characters with its official primer video.

The main antagonist of the series is Col. Yuta Saitoh played by Dennis Trillo. He is a Japanese imperial army officer whose mission is to conquer the Philippines. He will have feelings for Teresita.

The trailer also shows war planes and ships as violence erupts in the country.

Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Dominic Zapata, "Pulang Araw" will premiere on Netflix on July 26, three days before its television premiere on July 29.
