David Licauco displays intense acting in new 'Pulang Araw' teaser
David Licauco's acting on "Pulang Araw" is on fire!
On Sunday, "Pulang Araw," poised as the most important series of the year, released a new teaser featuring David, who plays Hiroshi Tanaka, a son of Japanese immigrants.
He returns to Japan to study but eventually comes back to the Philippines and reunites with his childhood friends Adelina (Barbie Forteza), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), and Eduardo (Alden Richards).
In the teaser, David could be seen sitting on a wooden chair, both his hands tied in the back, while delivering a monologue about the importance of equality, regardless of race.
Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Dominic Zapata, "Pulang Araw" will premiere on Netflix on July 26, three days before its television premiere on July 29.
