'Pulang Araw' official theme song is 'Kapangyarihan' by Ben&Ben, SB19

"Kapangyarihan" by Ben&Ben featuring P-Pop group SB19 is the official theme song of "Pulang Araw," the biggest Philippine family drama series of the year.

The song delivers the message of justice and seeking accountability from those in power.

"Kapangyarihan" is one of the tracks in Ben&Ben's 2021 album "Pebble House, Vol. 1: Kuwaderno."

"Pulang Araw" traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina (Barbie Forteza), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), Hiroshi (David Licauco), and Eduardo (Alden Richards).

As war ravages their homeland and Japanese forces occupy the Philippines, their dreams, friendships, and loyalties are tested, leading them on a journey of self-discovery and resilience.

Dennis Trillo is also part of the cast as Japanese imperial army officer, Col. Yuta Saitoh, his first major kontrabida role.

Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Dominic Zapata, "Pulang Araw" will premiere on Netflix on July 26, three days before its television premiere on July 29.
