Mikael Daez shares fun fact about ‘Running Man Philippines’ Season 2

The cast of “Running Man Philippines” truly worked hard every episode, and a fun fact shared by Mikael Daez once again proved that.

In an Instagram Reel showing the variety show’s beloved Kapitan was seen with his fellow Runners Glaiza De Castro, Buboy Villar, Kokoy De Santos, Angel Guardian, Lexi Gonzales, and Miguel Tanfelix dancing at a beach in South Korea.

According to Mikael, the fun scene took place on their first taping day in the country, which also happened to be on their first day in South Korea.

“We really had NO IDEA na deretso kami sa taping,” the Kapuso actor said in his caption.

“Tuwang tuwa pa kami na may usok na lumalabas sa bibig namin dahil sa lamig then biglang, nasa beach na kami struggling with the cold,” he added.

Mikael said in between games, the cast headed straight to big heaters and then placed heat packs in their shoes and gloves.

“In fairness though, ang saya ng mga games and missions naming,” Mikael said.

“After taping, nag-dinner din kami sa isang seaside restaurant habang pinaguusapan ang mga pwedeng mangyari for the rest of the season,” he added.

“Running Man Philippines,” the local adaptation of the hilarious South Korean variety show, premiered in 2022 with Angel named the first Ultimate Runner.

The cast opened the “Run 2 U” show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena early this month, and was able to meet the OG South Korean Runners.

Sandara Park, Josh of SB19, and HaHa are among the guests this season.
