Bea Alonzo makes her Tatler debut with two-cover special
Bea Alonzo just made her Tatler debut, appearing on the two-cover special of the high society magazine's July issue.
While her two covers look incredibly different, both showed a bolder Bea, unafraid to show a little skin and a lot of legs.
According to Tatler, Bea wore "sultry pieces from Gucci’s pre-fall 2024 collection" and talked about dealing with heartbreaks and setbacks, among them her breakup with Dominic Roque.
“I saw myself marrying this man. But sometimes, things don’t go according to plan. Sometimes God’s plan is better, and I have learnt to embrace that," Bea said in her Tatler interview.
Bea said the breakup didn't happen overnight, emphasizing the effort they both put in to make the relationship work.
"We tried to patch things up, but it did not work," she continued, saying both she and Dom "didn't want to get married anymore."
Previously, Bea revealed to Nelson Canlas that she didn't initiate the breakup. "Let's leave it in the past. It's amicable. OK naman kami. I think it will be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it. It's a very sensitive topic. And gusto kong bigyang ng respeto at gusto kong iwan sa magandang paraan what we had," she said back in June.
Bea and Dom made headlines in February when Boy Abunda broke the news about their breakup. Shortly after, the former couple issued a joint statement confirming their split.
Bea confirmed her relationship to Dom in August 2021, but the two actually started dating since January of that year. They got engaged in July 2023, with the couple planning to tie the knot this year.
All that is under the bridge now as Bea moves on from the episode with her top-rating new show Widows' War.
