Kim Ji Soo shows fun side in 'Black Rider' BTS clips
Kim Ji Soo is enjoying the Filipino warmth and hospitality as he works on "Black Rider."
In his interview with Nelson Canlas on Wednesday's "24 Oras," the South Korean actor said that in his home country, actors and staff usually greet each other formally before and after tapings.
"In here, in the Philippines, it's kind of different because, you know, it's more casual, like we say 'Hello!'" he said.
"The Filipino actors and crew members were always welcoming to me, making me feel right away just at home from day one," Kim Ji Soo said.
In a behind-the-scenes clip uploaded on Facebook by GMA Public Affairs, he could be seen having fun with the "Black Rider" crew on set.
Kim Ji Soo went "Wow, Guwapo!" with matching impressed facial reactions when a staff member jokingly showed him how to dashingly remove his motorcycle helmet for a scene.
"He's really guwapo!" he added.
He also complimented a female staff member by saying "Ang ganda mo."
Kim Ji Soo has made his "Black Rider" debut on Wednesday.
Based on teasers, Kim Ji Soo will teach Yassi Pressman how to fire a gun. Unfortunately, he and lead star Ruru Madrid did not get the chance to work together in the series.
"One day I want to be able to meet him and work with him," he said.
Kim Ji Soo is known for his roles in Korean dramas such as "Strong Girl Bong Soon" and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo."
He also visited the Philippines last year.
"Black Rider" airs weekdays on GMA Prime at 8:00 p.m. after "24 Oras."
