'Widows' War' to have crossovers from 'Widows' Web,' 'Royal Blood'
Following the success of "Widows' Web" and "Royal Blood," GMA Network introduced its newest murder-mystery series, "Widows' War."
Its concept was again created by RJ Nuevas, who revealed that the show will have crossovers from the first two series.
He started off with James Graham's character, Louie Castor, whom we first met in "Royal Blood." Spoiler alert, he had a big character twist at the end of the series.
RJ said that James will continue playing Louie Castor on "Widows' War."
"It's the same. Crossover. Continuation ng character niya, so kung ano 'yung napanood niyo sa 'Royal Blood,' including 'yung secret niya, kasama 'yun dito," he said.
He said that fans should wait to see if James' character will reveal more from his story in the ongoing series or on the second part of 'Royal Blood,' if there's any.
"Hindi namin alam kung isasabog kasi parang hindi ko alam kung dapat 'yon isabog sa part 2 ng 'Royal Blood' if ever na may part 2 ng 'Royal Blood,'" he said.
Aside from James, RJ said they are targeting to get Arthur Solinap, who played Emil in "Royal Blood," onboard the series.
He also said they are looking to have Vaness Del Moral, who played Hillary in "Widows' Web," for a crossover.
"Naghahanap lang kami ng mga schedule," he said.
Directed by Zig Dulay, "Widows' War" stars Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana.
They are joined by Tonton Gutierrez, Rita Daniela, Jeric Gonzales, Benjamin Alves, Juancho Triviño, Jackie Lou Blanco, Jean Garcia, and more.
The series made its GMA Prime debut on Monday and became a hot topic on X (formerly Twitter), landing a spot on the list of trending topics.
"Widows' War" airs weekdays at 8:50 p.m. after "Black Rider."
