Dennis Trillo’s TikTok account hacked, camp says

Dennis Trillo’s TikTok account hacked, camp says

Dennis Trillo’s talent agency, Aguila Entertainment, said the actor's TikTok account was hacked following controversial comments posted under his name.

In a statement posted on Instagram, the actor’s camp said the account was hacked “around noontime” on Monday, July 1.

“There were some comments made using his name and we assure everyone that it was not his doing.”

Aguila Entertainment added, “It is very unlikely of Dennis to make such remarks and he is a person who has nothing but kindness and [respect in] his heart.”

The agency also said they “are currently fixing the matter to avoid this incident from happening again.”

The statement from Dennis’ camp comes after a netizen commented on the actor's latest TikTok post, asking about his wife, Jennylyn Mercado’s rumored network transfer to ABS-CBN.

Speculations began when the longtime Kapuso actress did not appear in GMA Network’s new station ID.

A fan asked Dennis whether this was true, to which Dennis’ account replied, “May ABS pa ba?”

His comment drew backlash from netizens.

As of this writing, the comments section on all the Kapuso Drama King’s TikTok posts is turned off.

Jennylyn recently appeared in her comeback project, “Love. Die. Repeat,” which premiered early this year. She took some time off from showbiz when she got married to Dennis and gave birth to their daughter, Dylan.

In 2023, Jennylyn announced she is working on a new album, and got fans excited when she posted a photo of her recording session.

Jennylyn is marking her 20th showbiz anniversary this year. She first teased her “ultimate comeback” in May 2023 and has film and TV projects lined up.

Jennylyn and Dennis are set to star in their first movie together after 14 years, titled "Everything About My Wife," which is a romantic comedy and a Philippine adaptation of an Argentinian film.

Meanwhile, Dennis is set to play his first major kontrabida role in the biggest historical drama of the year, “Pulang Araw.”
