Jackie Lou Blanco on 'All-Out Sundays' performance with Jean Garcia: 'Parang GMA Supershow days lang'
Jackie Lou Blanco and Jean Garcia did a wonderful dance number yesterday at "All-Out Sundays" to promote "Widows' War."
In tight-fitting all-black ensembles, the two veteran actresses were total seductresses as they danced to Ariana Grande's "The Boy Is Mine."
It must've been such a great experience because Jackie Lou took to Instagram shortly after. Posting snaps and videos of their number, the actress said "parang GMA Supershow days lang," harking back to the classic Kapuso Sunday noontime show hosted by Kuya Germs of which they were mainstays.
Jackie Lou was a co-host from 1979 to 1997, while Jean stayed from 1989 to 1997. Other mainstays included Sharon Cuneta, Bing Loyzaga, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gretchen Barretto, Princess Punzalan, and Dawn Zulueta, to name a few.
In Jackie Lou's post, Jean couldn't help but agree. "Same here, sayaaaa," she wrote in the comment section. "Love you Ate Jacqs," she added before hinting, at well, the challenge they must've faced for the production number. "Nakaraos tayo," Jean said giggling.
A few more of their celebrity friends piped in including Aiko Melendez, Marissa Sanchez, and Hilda Koronel.
Jackie Lou and Jean are among the cast members of "Widows' War," which will premiere on GMA Prime tonight, July 1. It is topbilled by Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana.
Jackie Lou will play Ruth Balay, the mother of Carla Abellana's character. Jean meanwhile will play Aurora Palacios, the mother of Rafael Rosell's character.
"Widows' War" is a murder-mystery drama about best friends Sam (Bea) and George (Carla) who marry two men from the same family, the Palacios. It is directed by Zig Dulay.
