Former Viva Hot Babes Katya Santos, Sheree admit they disliked getting called 'bold star'

Katya Santos and Sheree admitted that they did not like getting called "bold star" at the height of their popularity as members of Viva Hot Babes.

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Katya and Sheree said they were actresses who just happened to have sexy roles.

"'Yun lang 'yung masakit minsan, 'O, bold star ka lang,' ganyan. Parang 'yung 'lang,' parang why?" Katya said. "Hindi n'yo ba alam na hindi ganun kadali maging naked on screen 'di ba. So it takes courage, will power na maghubad na maghubad ka in front of someone."

Sheree agreed and said that they took off their clothes for the sake of the story of the films that they did.

"Actually 'yun talaga 'yung pinaka ayaw naming na word na ginagamit pagka dine-describe kami. Kasi if you need to take off your clothes for a certain role or story, wala kaming choice eh," she said.

Tito Boy then asked what was their motivation for agreeing to get naked on screen.

"Real talk, fame of course. Because if you're famous dire-diretso na 'yung work mo," Katya said. "Parang naging stepping stone lang siya na magkaroon ka pa ng more projects."

Viva Hot Babes is a girl group formed in 2003. They are known for their songs "Bulaklak," "Kikay," and "Basketbol."

Aside from Katya and Sheree, other members were Maui Taylor, Andrea Del Rosario, Gwen Garci, Jen Rosendahl, and more.
