Pilar Pilapil joins ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap’ cast as show gets extended

“Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap” just got extended once again and a new character will be shaking things up!

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, the top-rating series also introduced a new character played by veteran actress Pilar Pilapil.

She plays the role of Madam Chantal Dubois, the mother of Pinky Amador’s character, Moira.

“She's so lovable, sobrang loving din niya, sobrang nakakatuwa siya. I love her, we love her,” Ken Chan said.

Pilar’s character was introduced after Pinky had to bid goodbye for her stage play in Singapore, “Who’s Afraid of Virgina Woolf?”

“Nami-miss namin si Tita Pinky and we're very happy for her kasi talagang nagagawa niya ‘yung isa sa mga love niyang gawin,” Ken said.

“Hindi kami makapaghintay na makabalik siya ulit. There's magic with her na kakainisan mo siya pero mamahalin mo siya,” the actor continued.

He also teased that more revelations, plot twists, and even another new character would surprise viewers.

“Marami pang aabangan sa ‘Abot-Kamay na Pangarap’ at kahit kami sabi nga namin na we're very thankful na na-extend ulit kami and sabi nga namin sana kung papagpalain pa, sana ma-extend pa and hanggang sa napapasaya natin ‘yung mga Kapuso natin,” he said.

"Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap" has been on air for almost two years now.

It stars Jillian Ward, Carmina Villarroel, Richard Yap, and more.

In January, Pokwang appeared on the series and brought laughter.
