Vice Ganda hilariously apologizes to Annette Gozon-Valdes on 'It's Showtime': 'Baka mabawi 'yung imbitasyon natin sa GMA Gala'

Vice Ganda hilariously apologized to Annette Gozon-Valdes after mentioning a different news program on "It's Showtime" instead of "24 Oras."

On Saturday's episode of the noontime show, Vice Ganda complimented Kapuso singer Rita Daniela's powerful voice and suggested that she can appear on an ABS-CBN news program. Jhong Hilario also echoed her idea.

Shortly after realizing what happened, Vice looked at the camera and said, "Ma'am Annette, I'm sorry."

"Baka mabawi 'yung imbitasyon natin sa GMA Gala," she added. "Masasayang 'yung gown na pinagawa ko."

Annette serves as GMA Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films.

Last month, Sparkle announced the return of GMA Gala for its third year.

The star-studded GMA Gala was first launched in July 2022 to celebrate GMA Network's 72nd anniversary. More than just a night of glamour, the GMA Gala is a fundraising event for the benefit of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

Vice Ganda, fellow "It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis, "Unbreak My Heart" star Joshua Garcia, and ABS-CBN executives Carlo Katigbak and Cory Vidanes attended the GMA Gala last year.
