Rayver Cruz, Ken Chan, Derrick Monasterio prep outfits for GMA Gala

The third GMA Gala is happening on July 20, giving our Kapuso stars just a little over a month left to prepare for the grand event.

Rayver Cruz, Ken Chan, and Derrick Monasterio have already had their measurements done for the suits they'll be wearing at the gala.

According to Aubrey Carampel on "24 Oras," Friday, Rayver's look for the night will be a collaboration between his stylist Ivor Jullian and the fashion designer Ryan Ablaza Uson.

Rayver shared that his outfit last year, a textured grey suit, was his favorite so he's excited to see what Ryan and Ivor would come up with this year.

"Sinabi ko na sa kanila na something classic, classy, but unique. 'Yung favorite ko kasi 'yung last year so parang challenge na rin for them kung papaano nila mas gagandahan pa and kaya ako excited," he said.

Ken and Derrick will also have the same stylist and designer for their GMA Gala looks. Less is more is Ken's mode, saying that he'd rather his jewelries do the talking.

"Gusto ko 'yung talagang plain 'yung isususot ko. Walang masyadong nangyayari sa sinusuot ko at gusto kong ma-highlight 'yung mga jewelries na isusuot ko for that night," he quipped.

Derrick, who sported a luxury watch with his white suit at the gala last year, said that he's leaving the accessories up to his stylist.

"Bahala na 'yung aking stylist diyan kasi syempre hindi niya ko hahayaang hindi mag-stand out, gusto niya talaga mag-stand out ako kaya siya bahala diyan.

Designer Ryan said in the report that the men's suits will be on theme: black and white, with a touch of sparkle.

"Our main goal is to make them look as dapper as they could," said Ryan. "We really go on a timeless silhouette of suits."

The GMA Gala first launched in July 2022 to mark GMA Network's 72nd anniversary. More than just a night of glamour, the GMA Gala is a fundraising event for the benefit of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
