Bea Alonzo, Carla Abellana are brides in black in 'Widow's War' teaser

"Widow's War" is coming to our television screens very soon!

The upcoming murder-mystery series starring Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana just dropped its first teaser, and the two stars absolutely served visuals as brides in black.

The video is in black and white except for their lips, which are blood red.

"Love kills," the teaser said.

"Widow's War" also released a poster showing the two leads wearing a black dress and veil, but only the bottom half of their faces are visible. Like the teaser, their lips are blood red.

The series is a spinoff of popular murder-mystery series "Royal Blood" and "Widow's Web." It will be directed by Zig Dulay, the director behind "Maria Clara at Ibarra" and Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 Best Picture "Firefly."

Other cast members include Tonton Gutierrez, Mark Herras, Jeric Gonzales, Juancho Triviño, Jackie Lou Blanco, Lito Pimentel, Rita Daniela, Timmy Cruz, Lovely Rivero, James Graham, Charlie Fleming, Matthew Uy, Jean Garcia, and Benjamin Alves.

Bea previously starred in GMA Prime series "Start-Up PH" and "Love Before Sunrise." Carla, meanwhile, recently starred in "Stolen Life" and "Voltes V: Legacy."
