Gary V. on his Pure Energy 40th anniversary concert series: 'Sana maulit muli'
Did Gary V. just tease of a possible repeat of his recently concluded, super successful 40th anniversary concert series Pure Energy?
"I’m aware that many weren’t able to secure tickets to the show, I’m truly truly truly hoping and praying that we can do all this one more time," Gary V. said on Instagram.
"In other words SANA MAULIT MULI!!" He added.
Mr. Pure Energy admitted to still being hung over from his three-night show that concluded last May 10.
"I know I really haven’t posted much about PURE ENERGY…One Last Time. But friends…tell me…how can I put, in one post, everything that this concert was to me?" He said.
Instead, Gary V. shared snaps from the shows — "moments that I felt are worthy to share with you," he said.
"I still have a hangover from the way these shows have impacted those who came to join the celebration of a 40-year career God has blessed me with in the field of music, life, energy, hope, faith, love, and inspiration. You’re all a part of my journey," he said.
In the comment section, Iya Villania expressed what we're all thinking: "Praying for a repeat so that more people will have a chance to watch, be moved and inspired."
Ogie Alcasid let out a "Hallelujah," while his director son, Paolo Valenciano asked, "How does one move on from here?"
The Pure Energy concerts celebrated Gary V.'s 40 fruitful years in music. It was only supposed to be a two-night show on April 26 and 27 but demand pushed organizers to put up a third show on May 10.
Gary's top hits include "'Di Bale Nalang," "'Di Na Natuto," "Shout For Joy," "Sana Maulit Muli," and "Take Me Out of the Dark," among many others.
The arena concerts followed a series of smaller shows at the Music Museum, celebrating his 100th performance at the intimate venue in Greenhills San Juan.
Gary V. made a memorable appearance at the Eraserheads reunion concert in 2022, where he performed "Christmas Party" with them.
