Ruru Madrid, Lexi Gonzales to reunite in 'Black Rider'

Lexi Gonzales is the latest star to join "Black Rider!"

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, lead star Ruru Madrid said that this feels like their reunion since working together in the first season of "Running Man Philippines."

Ruru had to miss the show's second season, but he will have a special participation where he surprised the runners in one mission.

"Medyo naloko ko naman sila nung una. But eventually, dahil nga amoy ko pa lang, alam na nila eh. Pero sobrang happy kasi siyempre kahit na hindi po ako nakasama dito sa season 2 ng 'Running Man' na buo, kahit papano kumbaga naging parte pa rin po ako," Ruru said.

Miguel Tanfelix was introduced as the newest runner after Ruru announced that he would miss the season.

"Black Rider" began a new chapter recently, introducing new cast members like Angeli Khang. The series airs weekdays on GMA Prime at 8:00 p.m. after "24 Oras."

"Running Man Philippines" Season 2, meanwhile, airs Saturdays and Sundays at 7:15 p.m.
