Barbie Forteza grateful for winning Primetime TV Drama Actress of the Year at Box Office Entertainment Awards

Barbie Forteza has nothing but a grateful heart after winning Primetime TV Drama Actress of the Year at the Box Office Entertainment awards for the Kapuso series “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” 

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared a photo of her together with her Box Office Entertainment trophy awarded by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.

“Thank you so much, Guillermo,” she wrote in the caption.

The Box Office Entertainment awards was held in the Henry Irwin Lee Theatre at Ateneo de Manila University on Sunday night.

Aside from Barbie, other Kapuso awardees include Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid, who won the Most Popular Love Team for Television award for “The Write One.”

Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera received the Box-Office Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema and Most Popular Loveteam for Movies awards for their blockbuster film “Rewind.”

Dingdong, fresh from his contract renewal with GMA Network, was also hailed as Film Actor of the Year, while his game show “Family Feud” won Most Popular TV Program – (Reality, Talent, Game).

Alden Richards bagged the Box Office King award for his film “Five Breakups and A Romance” with Julia Montes.

Abot Kamay na Pangarap” stars Jillian Ward, Richard Yap and Pinky Amador received the Daytime TV Drama Actress of the Year, Daytime TV Drama Actor of the Year, and TV Supporting Actress of the Year awards, respectively.

The tandem of Beauty Gonzalez and Senator Bong Revilla in the comedy series “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis” bagged the Comedy Actress and Actor of the Year awards. 

Firefly” stars Euwenn Mikaell and Alessandra de Rossi also won the Most Popular Child Performer of the Year and Movie Supporting Actress of the Year awards, respectively.

“Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” won Most Popular TV Program for Talkshow, whereas “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” likewise scored the award for Most Popular TV Program - News and Public Affairs.
