Are Yasser Marta, Claudine Barretto in a relationship? Sparkle actor answers

Yasser Marta set the record straight: he is not in a relationship with Claudine Barretto, and they did not become a couple.

On Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Sparkle actor was asked about his recent confession that he had feelings for the actress.

"Sinong hindi mahuhulog din? Isang Miss Claudine Barretto, 'di ba? Napakalambing, napakaganda, lahat ng iwi-wish mo, nasa kaniya na," he said.

["Of course, Tito Boy. Who wouldn't fall for one Ms. Claudine Barretto, right? Sweet, absolutely beautiful, everything you could wish for, she has it."] 

Yasser said that if he could only control time, he would, just so he could fix their timelines.

"Ako, kung mababalik ko lang siguro 'yung panahon dati na sabay kaming nandito sa industriya, Tito Boy, sana mabalik ko 'yon," he said.

["Me, if I could just control time so we could be in the industry at the same time, Tito Boy, I would do it."]

Yasser also said that it was the "right love at the wrong time."

Claudine and Yasser starred together in her comeback TV series "Lovers/Liars."

The story followed a successful corporate woman named Via, who unexpectedly falls in love with a younger man named Caloy. Their characters were also embroiled in a love triangle with Nika, played by Shaira Diaz.

When the series wrapped in January, Claudine took to Instagram to expressed her gratitude to supporters of the series.

"Thank you so much sa lahat ng sumuporta sa Lovers Liars," she wrote then. "Kahit eight weeks lang at mini series nakabuo ako ng bagong pamilya." 

["Thank you to everyone who supported Lovers/Liars. Even though it only ran for eight weeks and was a mini-series, I was able to create a new family."]

Yasser was previously in a relationship with Kate Valdez, while Claudine was married to Raymart Santiago.

Last month, Yasser gave Claudine sneakers from high-end brand Golden Goose.
