Awra Briguela opens up on Poblacion brawl: 'I owned up to my mistakes'
Almost a year after Awra Briguela got involved in an altercation in Poblacion, the 20-year-old actress said she's now doing OK and opened up on the incident.
In Vice Ganda's latest vlog titled "My SpaghetTEA with Awra," the showbiz personality said she has learned her lesson from what happened.
"I'm getting better, I'm getting stronger," Awra said. "I owned up to my mistakes."
"Noong nakulong ako, parang hindi ko pa rin siya ma-realize na nangyayari na sa 'kin 'yun," she said.
According to Awra, she's not the type to show weakness in front of her loved ones.
"Kaya after what happened, kahit nakauwi na ako, lugmok na lugmok ako, umiyak na ako, 'yun 'yung time na hindi ko na kaya," she said.
In the vlog, Vice said she could see that Awra is now in a better state.
"Alam naman nating lahat, ikaw din, na lahat kayo nagkamali," the "It's Showtime" host said. "Lahat kayo may sobra at pagkukulang. Inamin mo naman 'yun."
In June last year, Awra was taken to a police station in Makati after she got into a brawl with another customer outside The Bolthole Bar in Poblacion. She was released on bail a day after the incident.
