'Running Man PH' Season 2 holds advanced screening of first episode for fans

Loyal fans of “Running Man Philippines” just had the chance to watch the first episode of the show's second season in advance!

The event held on Saturday afternoon at GMA Network was graced by the seven runners, Mikael Daez, Glaiza De Castro, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy de Santos, Angel Guardian, and Miguel Tanfelix.

Mikael said that the first episode was just the “tip of the iceberg” and that fans should prepare themselves for more surprises.

“Madami pa ‘yan,” he said. “Nabitin nga kami nang konti eh. I’m very, very excited. Patikim pa lang ‘yan kung ano ang mangyayari.”

He also shared that compared to the first season, the challenges this time around are more creative.

“Mas creative ‘yung challenges. Merong mas mahirap. Pero I think ‘yung tumatak sa ‘kin is very creative ‘yung paggawa nila ng challenge. Halo-halo talaga, there are physical challenges, mental challenges, emotional challenges,” Mikael said.

"Running Man Philippines" is the local adaptation of the longest-running South Korean reality game, "Running Man." It is a co-production between GMA Network and SBS Korea.

Angel was hailed as the ultimate runner in Season 1, which aired in 2022.

The upcoming season will begin airing on May 11 and 12 at 7:15 p.m. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
