Barbie Almalbis, Aia de Leon, Acel Bisa, Mayonnaise’s Monty Malaino, and more to join Kitchie Nadal’s 20th Anniversary Concert
Kitchie Nadal's upcoming concert to celebrate her 20th anniversary is looking like a party.
Barbie Almalbis, Aia de Leon, Lougee Basabas, Hannah Romawac, Acel Bisa, and Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise are among the artists who will be joining Same Ground: Kitchie Nadal’s 20th Anniversary Concert.
“We’ve prepared a showstopping collaboration with musicians who also happen to be good friends of mine,” Kitchie in a press statement.
“I look up to these artists whose work resonates with me on an intimate level. It doesn’t feel like work at all when you’re surrounded with like minded individuals who share the same goals in life and career," she added.
The lineup of artists is just the first batch of guests for Kitchie's concert. More guest artists from various generations will soon be announced.
“I can’t reveal anything at the moment, but I’m excited to explore other possibilities other than the usual,” she said.
Rolando Garcia Jr.,Chairman and Founder of Rolling Gum and the Executive Producer of Kitchie’s upcoming concert said, “Expect quality music, surprise OPM artists, and most of all, a Filipino-led world-class production that will bring back memories of Kitchie Nadal’s classic hit music.”

Same Ground: Kitchie Nadal’s 20th Anniversary Concert is happening on June 2, Sunday, at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
Tickets are available at all Ticketnet outlets nationwide and online. Prices range from P1,200 for Balcony to P4,000 for SVIP with a meet and greet and signed poster.
Kitchie is currently based in Spain with her husband Carlos Lopez and their sons Keon and Iago.
The pillar of OPM rock is best known for the songs “Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sasabihin,” “Same Ground,” and “Makulay na Buhay.”
