'Family Feud' creator congratulates PH team for hit episode featuring 'It's Showtime' hosts

Fremantle, the creator of "Family Feud," just congratulated the team behind the Philippine version of the game show for its hit episode featuring the hosts of "It's Showtime."

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the episode had already reached nine million views online.

"Napakasaya talaga. Ibang klase talaga 'yung energy ng 'It's Showtime' family, 'It's Showtime' cast. Kaya kung 'di niyo pa nakikita, nandiyan sa YouTube, panooorin niyo po, pati sa Facebook," said host Dingdong Dantes.

"And we're just really very happy na hindi lang po dito sa GMA-7 pinapanood, pati sa online,"

"Family Feud" Philippines is also the first to invite kids over, which is now also being done by the show's versions in other countries.

The game show on the Kapuso network is set to unveil a new season featuring exciting guests, including the cast of "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap" and "Voltes V: Legacy."

It will also dispatch "Family Feud" booths in different locations in the country.

"'Yung booth ng 'Family Feud' ay pupunta diyan mismo sa barangay ninyo. Papasok lang kayo doon at sasagutin n'yo 'yung mga tanong ko dun sa booth 'di ba para makapagbigay din naman kayo ng mga top answers. So parang nandito na rin kayo sa show at sumali kayo," Dingdong said.

The new season of "Family Feud" will begin airing on Wednesday at 5:40 p.m.
