David Licauco explains side after fan interaction leads to 'suplado' claims

David Licauco is no stranger to people thinking he is a snob due to his mood being affected by his sleep apnea.

According to Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," the Pambansang Ginoo once again faced questions on whether he is "suplado" after a fan posted an interaction with him online recently.

David addressed the issue, saying that he was sick at that time after coming home to extreme heat in the Philippines right after doing a Sparkle tour in snowy Canada.

"I think 'yun 'yung time na nararamdaman ko yung peak ng sakit ko. Naaalala ko hindi ako makapagsalita dahil 'yung phelgm ko, 'yung colds ko nandito lahat eh," he said, posting to his chest. "Tapos sinisipon ako, nilalagnat ako."

"Siyempre kahit sino naman kapag may sakit ka wala ka sa mood. I think 1 a.m. na rin kasi 'yun," he added.

Nonetheless, David said there should be no excuses and he should have been more considerate of the fans.

"I'll be better. At the end of the day hindi rin naman nila alam na may sakit ako. For me to hurt their feelings at that moment, I take full responsibility," he said.

David will undergo surgery for his sleep apnea on Tuesday.

The Sparkle actor has an upcoming film titled "G! LU!" He also has a movie with his love team Barbie Forteza called "That Kind of Love."

He will also star in upcoming series "Pulang Araw" with Barbie, Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, and Dennis Trillo.
