Boy Abunda's TV special 'My Mother, My Story' to start airing on May 12

Boy Abunda is set to host a TV special titled "My Mother, My Story," which will debut on Mother's Day on May 12.

The King of Talk made the announcement during the episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Monday.

Tito Boy said will have "revealing conversations" with celebrities on the show, where they will talk about their relationships with their mothers.

"Dito magbabahagi sila kung paano sila pinalaki ng kanilang mga magulang, paano sila tinaguyod, paano sila nasaktan, paano sila naging masaya sa buhay, paano silang tinuruan magmahal at hindi natuto magmahal at iba pang mga karanasang sa kanilang buhay na humubog sa kanilang pagkatao," he said.

"But more than that, this conversation is also fundamentally about us and our mothers. Lahat tayo makakarelate dahil lahat tayo ay anak. Lahat tayo ay may ina. Sa pamamagitan ng special na ito mapapaisip din tayo sa tanong na: 'naging sino tayo dahil sa ating mga ina?'" Tito Boy added. 

"My Mother, My Story" will be aired once a month on Sundays at 3:15 p.m. on GMA Network.
