Are you ready for "Running Man Philippines" Season 2?
The official trailer for the second season was finally revealed on Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," giving viewers a glimpse into the exciting activities the runners did.
The season is also called a "Winter Edition," as it was filmed in South Korea during the cold season.
This cast includes Season 1 runners Mikael Daez, Glaiza De Castro, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy De Santos, and Angel Guardian. They were also joined by Miguel Tanfelix, who joined the cast after Ruru Madrid announced that he was going to miss the second season.
Special guests also joined them, including Sandara Park, Nancy McDonie, Rochelle Pangilinan, Bianca Umali, Alessandra De Rossi, Herlene Budol, Shaira Diaz, and more.
During their guest appearance on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the runners shared some teasers, including a horror episode.
"Ayoko talaga sa lahat, 'yung heights, tubig, tsaka horror. As in pinagpe-pray ko talaga, sabi ko sana hindi muna kasi hindi ako prepared, 'yung utak ko, lahat. Binigay," Kokoy said.
He also said that it came in the early parts of the season.
"Tito Boy, umiiyak ako. Grabe. As in humahagulgol ako, sabi ko ayoko na," he said.
Mikael also talked about one of the games they did, which is called the Mango Game.
"Maliban doon sa winter environment, para sa akin, 'yung mga games kasi wala tayong inulit na games, 'no?" he said when asked about the most exciting part of the series.
"Running Man Philippines" is the local adaptation of the longest-running South Korean reality game, "Running Man." It is a co-production between GMA Network and SBS Korea.
Angel was hailed as the ultimate runner in Season 1, which aired in 2022.
The upcoming season will air weekends starting on May 11 at 7:15 p.m.
