Will Allen Ansay officially court Sofia Pablo now that she's 18? Sparkle actor answers

Now that Sofia Pablo is already of legal age after turning 18 years old this April, will Allen Ansay officially court the Sparkle actress?

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Allen said he had been teased about it by people around them in showbiz.

"Bawal pa rin. Binibiro ako ng mga direktor, 'Allen bawal pa ha, bawal pa.' May tamang time daw muna diyan so ayun, mag-enjoy na daw muna sa career," he said.

Asked how much he loves his on-screen partner, Allen said has a short but straight answer.

"Mahal ko siya, Tito Lhar," he said. "I'm willing to wait. Maghihintay po ako sa tamang ano, sa tamang oras."

As for Sofia's reaction, she said, "Kilig. Ano po, s'yempre, masaya kasi... secret po."

Beauty Gonzalez, who will play Sofia's mother in upcoming Kapuso afternoon series "Prinsesa ng City Jail," told Sofia it's OK to have crushes for now.

"Huwag na munang seryoso because, you know, this is just the beginning of life and dami pang mangyayari," she said.

Sanya Lopez, meanwhile, said Sofia can pursue a relationship if she can look after herself.

"Basta kaya mong ingatan ang sarili mo at kaya mong kontrolin ang sarili mo, 'yun lang masa-suggest ko," she said, quipping, "Go, baka maunahan mo pa ko eh."

Sofia and Allen, also known as AlFia or Team Jolly, previously starred together in "Sparkle U: #Ghosted," "In My Dreams," and "Luv Is: Caught In His Arms."
