Marjorie Barretto sentimental as youngest daughter Erich turns 12: 'I wish it would slow down'
Marjorie Barretto could not help but turn sentimental as her youngest daughter Erich turned 12 years old.
The celebrity mom posted an Instagram slideshow of her bunso’s photos and talked about how she is now growing up.
“12 years went by too fast, how I wish it would slow down a bit so I can still enjoy the clingy little girl you once were. You are now growing up to be so independent, so smart, articulate and strong, you need less and less of me and it makes me both happy and sad,” Marjorie said in her caption.
“I thank God for you Erich, you truly are a bonus in my life. Everything I do and my [every] move I do it all for you. I love you like my heart could burst just by thinking about it,” she added.
Marjorie gave Erich some life advice.
“Be the BEST that you could be, we are always behind you, take all the risks, be tough but gentle, study hard, be successful in your own right, live a purposeful life. You have the strongest support system in us, your family,” Marjorie said.
“Happy Happy Birthday my love! Always and FOREVER!” she added.
Erich’s older sister, actress Julia Barretto, commented, “That went by too fast!!!” with several crying emojis.
More artists who greeted Erich include Gerald Anderson and Arlene Muhlach.
Marjorie is a mom of five kids: Dani, Julia, Claudia, Leon, and Erich.
Their whole family spent the 2023 Christmas holidays in the US. Marjorie has also been sharing her bonding moments with her kids, such as going out for dinner and girls’ nights.
