Kiray Celis and Christian Antolin talk about their friendship with Marian Rivera

Kiray Celis and Christian Antolin are among the stars who are part of Marian Rivera’s television comeback project, “My Guardian Alien" and on Tuesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the two spoke about their friendship with the Kapuso Primetime Queen.

When asked who among them has a closer friendship with Marian, Christian said that it was Kiray, who quickly dismissed his answer and said, "both kami.”

“Kasi hindi ako pumupunta kay Ate Yan nang wala siya,” Kiray said.

The actors’ bond with Marian has become so strong that they can already impersonate Marian’s cheerful laugh.

“‘Yung out loud,” Kiray said.

In “My Guardian Alien,” Christian plays the role of Sputnik.

“Mapagkakatiwalaan ni Boss Gabby [Concepcion] at tsaka ni Ate Marian, na katiwala. And mas parang napo-focus ‘yung character niya as kabatuhan ni Marites,” he said, defining his character.

Kiray meanwhile gives life to the character of Marites, whom she jokingly defined as “Maganda lang, gano’n. ‘Pag wala si Marian, ako.”

According to Kiray, her character and Christian's is like a “tag team na laging na magkaaway na aso’t pusa.”

Last month, Kiray said that Marian has a genuine and loving personality.

“Kung gano nila sinasabing nakakatakot, sobrang nakakatawa. Kung gano sinasabi nila maldita, sobrang kulit,” she said. “Ayain mo dun sa gilid, hindi maarte. Sasabihin lang maarte, kabaligtaran po ‘yun sa lahat ng nakikita niyo.”

In August last year, Kiray surprised her followers with a TikTok video starring Marian. On Valentine’s Day, she gave Marian a fruit arrangement gift.

"My Guardian Alien" premiered on Monday, introducing Marian as Katherine, wife of Carlos (Gabby) and mother to Doy (Raphael Landicho).

The series airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Black Rider."
