Nancy McDonie to appear in 'Running Man PH,' interested to guest on teleseryes
Nancy McDonie is set to appear in "Running Man Philippines" Season 2.
The King of Talk Boy Abunda made the announcement on Monday on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" shortly after Sparkle welcomed the K-pop idol and former Momoland member to its roster of artists.
"Isa sa mga unang appearance niya bilang Kapuso ay sa second season ng 'Running Man Philippines' na magsisimula ngayong May 11 at 12," Tito Boy said.
The talk show host added that Nancy is one of the "superstar Korean guests" that viewers can expect to appear in the show.
Aside from that, Sparkle said that the Korean-American idol is also interested in appearing as a guest on a teleserye.
Nancy is set to arrive in the Philippines in May to do some engagements.
Earlier, Sparkle announced through an Instagram post that Nancy is now a part of the Sparkle family. However, she remains under her talent agency ATOC for her activities in South Korea.
This is not the first time that Sparkle has signed a K-pop idol. Chanty of Lapillus joined the roster of Sparkle artists in 2022.
Nancy, whose real name is Nancy Jewel McDonie, debuted with Momoland in 2016. The group disbanded in February 2023.
The Korean-American singer visited the Philippines in November 2023 for a one-night concert with Korean actor Lee Seung Gi to mark the first anniversary of a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant at the Bonifacio Global City.
