Michelle Dee on sister Maxine's birthday: 'It's always been you and me powering through life'

Michelle Dee wrote a touching message for her sister, Maxine, as she celebrates her birthday this year.

On Instagram Stories, the Sparkle star and reigning Miss Universe Philippines shared photos of them together.

“Happy birthday to my rock,” Michelle said.

“Little do people know what we had to go through to get to where we are now.. but it’s always been you and me powering through life," she added.

Michelle also thanked Maxine and their brother, Abraham, for “being a big reason why I am the way I am.”

“I hope you know that I want nothing but the best life has to offer for you. I love you forever, sis!” she said.

Michelle, Maxine, and Abraham are three of Melanie Marquez’s children.

Maxine and Abraham showed their all-out support for Michelle during her Miss Universe stint last year.

Michelle finished Miss Universe in the Top 10 and won four special awards, including Best National Costume.
