Rochelle Pangilinan joins the viral 'Maria Clara' challenge on TikTok

Rochelle Pangilinan tried her hand at the viral "Maria Clara" dance challenge on TikTok.

The former Sexbomb dancer shared a clip of her doing the hand steps while the lyrics, "Mga tipo mo'y mestiza na chinita, habang ako'y morenang dalagang Pilipina," played in the background.

Rochelle also used a flower filter in her ear.

"Ang arte nitong Maria Clara dito," she wrote in the caption.

As of this writing, the video has garnered over 350,000 views and over 21,000 likes on the microblogging platform.

Meanwhile, netizens can't help but praise Rochelle for her "dalagang Pilipina look."

"Yes Filipina beauty," a netizen wrote.

"A true morena beauty," another netizen said. 

The viral "Maria Clara" song is written and performed by rising Filipina singer Janah Rapas. The song has already garnered over three million video uploads in TikTok.

Rochelle has been busy with her dance class in the past months.

She recently reunited with her fellow Sexbomb Girls Jopay Paguia, Sunshine Garcia, Aifha Medina, Mia Pangyarihan, and Cheche Tolentino during the holidays.

Sexbomb Girls was known for their songs "The Spageti Song," "Halukay Ube," "Bakit Papa?" and more. They also starred in the long-running afternoon series "Daisy Siete."

The Sexbomb Girls also came together for a Netflix ad last year.

Rochelle is married to Arthur Solinap. They have a daughter named Shiloh.
