Do Max Collins and Gabby Eigenmann believe in aliens? 'My Guardian Alien' stars weigh in
Max Collins and Gabby Eigenmann are also part of the upcoming series, "My Guardian Alien," along with Marian Rivera and Gabby Concepcion.
But in real life, do they believe in the existence of aliens?
On Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Max said that she does, but she doesn't think they are the same as the aliens in their project.
"Parang we think like medyo mabait ang mga aliens, I think, sa show na 'to because it's a family show. But in real life, I don't think aliens are mabait," she said.
"I think they're trying to take over the world," she added.
Asked if she thinks so, having grown up in the United States, Max said, "Oo, there's a lot of UFO sightings there and a lot of people who say they've been abducted, 'di ba? So parang hindi maganda 'yung mga kuwento nila. And also I just feel like they're not good. 'Yun lang talaga."
Max said that it's a conspiracy theory, and she believes in conspiracy theories.
Gabby said that he also believes in the existence of aliens, however, he "would want them to be the nice ones."
"I think the technology now, you'll never know, maybe there's someone here who are aliens also in human form," he said.
Gabby continued, "If you believe in God and you don't see God, is it hard to believe that there's an alien even if you don't see it? So it's baka meron. With some kasi to see is to believe eh, 'di ba?"
In "My Guardian Alien," Max will play the role of Venus, while Gabby will give life to a psychiatrist named Sef.
"I'm the bad girl. Papahirapan ko 'yung buhay ni Marian sa show namin. Kasi in love ako sa character ni Gabby Concepcion," Max said.
"My Guardian Alien" is one of Marian's comeback projects after her acting hiatus. It is her first time playing an alien, and she said that she is excited for the role.
Marian and Gabby started taping for the series in August last year.
