Heart Evangelista tells Mr. M on his birthday: 'You had made my life a movie'

Heart Evangelista made sure to express her gratitude to Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan during his surprise birthday party on Saturday night.

In an Instagram video posted by events host Tim Yap, the Kapuso Global Fashion Icon could be seen making a touching speech.

“I have never given you a blockbuster movie, but you had made my life a movie with chapters I still up to this day replay in my mind," she said.

“I am just ever so grateful for everything you have done for me and for everybody in this room. So thank you so much, Mr. M,” she added.

Heart was among the many stars who gathered to celebrate the legendary star-maker and Sparkle GMA Artist Center consultant. More guests include Kathryn Bernardo, Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales, and Sam Milby.

Mr. M attended Heart’s Sparkle contract renewal in 2023, and the actress turned emotional as she thanked him for kickstarting her career. “You saw me in a crowd and everybody else here came because you saw me first, so thank you so much,” she said.

Heart previously said that she misses acting and that she has stories to work on.

Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo said they are hoping to give Heart something that she really wants to do. Heart said that her dream role is “something that would challenge me and break me.”

Heart last starred in the 2021 primetime series "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon," where she played a fashion designer.

She appeared in the international film "The Wedding Hustler" and the Netflix reality show "Bling Empire."
