Julie Anne San Jose dreams of collaborating with these three music icons

Julie Anne San Jose has collaborated with many different artists, but there are three more music icons she dreams of working with.

In an interview after her contract signing on Tuesday, Julie Anne shared with GMA News Online that she dreams of collaborating with Lea Salonga, who is one of her industry idols.

“I really wanna work with Miss Lea Salonga. Kasi isa siya sa mga tinitingala ko simula bata pa lang ako,” she said.

According to Julie, Lea’s professionalism, discipline, hard work, and dedication to her craft inspired her in her career.

Aside from Lea, Julie also shared that she dreams of collaborating with American pop stars Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift because she wants to learn from their artistic minds.

“They write really good songs, so I want to collaborate with them. I wanna pick their brain. Gusto ko yung marami akong matututunan. I wanna work with them because I wanna learn from them,” she said.

Recently, Julie Anne flew to Singapore with her boyfriend Rayver Cruz to watch Taylor Swift’s “The Eras” tour — a testament to how much she is a fan of Swift’s artistry.

She renewed her contract with GMA Network and Sparkle on Tuesday.

Julie Anne, a homegrown talent of the Kapuso network, started her career at 11 years old. She rose to prominence after competing in the reality singing competition Popstar Kids in 2005.

As a singer, she has earned many accolades under her belt, including two FAMAS Awards, and a star at the Eastwood City Walk of Fame.

As an actress, Julie Anne has appeared in numerous Kapuso shows such as “Pepito Manaloto,” and the highly-rated historical-fantasy drama “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” —JCB, GMA Integrated News
