Liza Soberano exudes grace and elegance in GLAMbot behind-the-scenes clip
Even before the take, Liza Soberano already exuded a regal type of elegance!
In a clip posted by director and GLAMbot inventor Cole Walliser, the Filipina actress could be seen preparing for her turn in front of the camera at the SAG Awards.
Cole guided Liza all throughout. The two agreed that she should do a spin and smile to highlight her look for the night.
And just like that, Liza nailed the first take!
“Stunning, gorgeous. Thanks Liza!” Cole told her.
The filmmaker said on Instagram, “So happy and excited to shoot Liza Soberano at the SAG Awards! Nothing makes me happier than seeing other mixed Asians on the red carpet!”
“We definitely should have done a duo hapa GlamBOT together," he added. "Hopefully we’ll have another chance!”
GLAMbot is a high-definition cinema camera attached to a high-speed robot arm that captures slow-motion video of event guests commonly found on the red carpets of high-end events.
For her SAG debut, Liza wore a simple yet elegant two-toned gown designed by fashion designer Pamella Roland. The piece was from her Pre-Fall 2024 creation, a black embroidered bodice with a voluminous blush skirt.
Liza made her Hollywood film debut with “Lisa Frankenstein,” where she played Taffy, the stepsister of Lisa (Kathryn Newton).
Her performance got rave reviews from fans and critics alike. American filmmaker Jo Russo and Liza’s boyfriend Enrique Gil were among those who were impressed.
Liza was recently at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan, where she served as the presenter for Best Anime Song.
