Herlene Budol signs contract with Sparkle

Herlene Budol has signed a management contract with Sparkle.

On Monday, Kapuso beauty queen could not help but be emotional during the press conference following her signing ceremony.

"Maraming salamat po. Hindi po ako mangangako ng masaya't pero pag-iigihan ko po sa lahat ng bagay sa pag-acting, sa pag-host. Gagawin ko po 'yung best ko para hindi ko po kayo mapahiya. I love you so much po," Herlene said. 

Present at the contract signing is GMA Network's Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo.

In her speech, Marcelo said she is proud of Herlene's achievements and welcomed her to the Sparkle family.

"Nakita namin kung gaano ka kasipag at kung gaano mo kagusto 'yung pagtulong mo sa pamilya mo. Tuloy-tuloy ka lang sa pagtrabaho kahit na ang daming nangyari in the past. I know nalampasan mo lahat 'yon, and we you are here now. We are very proud of you," Marcelo said.

Herlene recently starred in "Magandang Dilag," which marked her first lead role in a series.

She currently stars in the action-packed series "Black Rider" as Pretty.

Aside from showbiz, she also made a name for herself in pageantry.

She was crowned Miss Philippines Tourism at the Miss Grand International pageant in July. She was also named Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up.
