 Katrina Halili says Jaclyn Jose comforted her following boyfriend’s death

Katrina Halili revealed that the late Jaclyn Jose was among those who were there for her following the death of her boyfriend, Jeremy Guiab.

On Instagram, “The Black Rider” actress shared a screenshot of her conversation with Jaclyn, who invited her over after the loss.

Jaclyn told Katrina, “Kat, I am sorry for your [loss]. Halika Sat maski konti maibsan nararamdaman mo. I feel you. Swimming tayo mga bata.”

Their previous messages show them making plans to spend time together with their friends.

“Palagi kita iniisip,” Jaclyn told Katrina.

Katrina captioned her post, “Salamat Tita Jane.”

In Katrina’s previous post, she said that Jaclyn visited her two weeks ago to comfort her.

“Salamat sa mahigpit na yakap, oras at pagmamahal,” she said.

Born Mary Jane Guck, Jaclyn died on March 2 at 60 years old. Her daughter, Andi Eigenmann, revealed that she died due to a heart attack.

Jaclyn’s death was first announced by her agency, PPL Entertainment. Her family, through the Philippine National Police, also previously said that there was no foul play involved.

 

In 2016, Jose won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her mesmerizing performance in Brillante Mendoza's "Ma'Rosa."

Jose's other notable performances include starring and supporting roles in films such as "The Flor Contemplacion Story" and "Patay Na Si Hesus.” She also starred in several GMA Network series, including "Marimar," "The Millionaire's Wife," and "D'Originals."

Celebrities and industry colleagues are mourning the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.
