'Tahanang Pinakamasaya' bids farewell to viewers

The noontime show “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” has bid goodbye to its viewers.

The news was announced by the King of Talk Boy Abunda on Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.”

“Nagpaalam na sa manonood ang noontime show na ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,’” Tito Boy said.

The talk show also aired a clip of Saturday’s episode of “Tahanang Pinakamasaya,” where the hosts and staff on the noon-time show hugged each other.

Actress and “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” host Chariz Solomon also confirmed the news, revealing that the noontime show aired its final episode on Saturday, March 2.

“I'm excited for God's greater purpose for this Beautiful family. #TahanangPinakamasaya indeed,” Chariz captioned her post on Instagram.

Chariz’ co-host Mavy Legaspi took to Instagram to bid goodbye to the noontime show.

“Thank you. maraming salamat. Salamat kaayo,” Mavy said.

The actor and host then expressed his gratitude to “Tahanang Pinakamasaya,” saying it he became a stronger person because of them.

“This wasn’t about me. since day 1, this was always about them. Because of them, I became a stronger person, a better colleague, a better host, a better son to my parents, a better brother to my twin and a better child of God… puwede ko na bang idagdag na better joker? Mas magaling na ba ako mag joke? OK maybe not, still corny,” Mavy said.

He also asked for the Lord’s guidance to the staff and crew who lost their jobs as the noontime show shut down.

“Lord, please do bless the staff & crew that worked so hard day in and day out every single day. They are our show. This show was always about them. Please do take care of them and their respective families,” he said.

According to Tito Boy, TAPE Inc. and GMA Network are expected to release a joint statement in the coming days.
