Alden Richards, Kylie Padilla, more celebs pay tribute to Jaclyn Jose
Filipino celebrities paid tribute to award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose, who passed away on Saturday.
Sparkle actress Kylie Padilla, who starred with Jaclyn in Kapuso series "Bolera," took to Instagram to share a photo of her and Jaclyn embracing each other.
The two played mother and daughter in the sports drama series, which aired in 2022.
"You will be missed," Kylie wrote in the caption.
"Black Rider" star Katrina Halili also posted a tribute to the late actress.
Sharing a photo of her and Jaclyn, Katrina wrote: "Thank you Tita Jhane, dinalaw mo pa ako two weeks ago para i-comfort ako."
"Salamat sa mahigpit na yakap, oras at pagmamahal. Rest in peace. Mahal kita!"
Gardo Versoza, who also starred with Jaclyn in "Bolera," wrote a heartfelt message for his colleague.
"Mahal na mahal kita Abe. Masakit na paalam. Magkwekwentuhan pa tayo di ba," the actor wrote, sharing an old photo of him and Jaclyn on Instagram.
Rodjun and Rayver Cruz also paid homage to Jaclyn.
"Napakahusay na actress at mabuting tao. Rest in Paradise Tita Jane," Rodjun wrote, accompanied by a photo of him and the actress.
Meanwhile, Rayver simply wrote heartbroken emojis along with a photo of them together.
Gladys Reyes, who first worked with Jaclyn in the 1996 GMA Network series "Lovingly Yours Helen," also mourned for the actress's loss.
"Ate Jane na kakagulat naman, binigla mo kaming lahat. Ang dami nating pinagsamahan, simula nine years old ako sa 'Lovingly Yours Helen' hanggang dito sa huling movie natin na 'Apag,' 'di ka nagbago sa 'kin," Gladys wrote.
Along with the message is a short vlog of Gladys and Jaclyn, which according to the actress is one of their "most unforgettable moments on set."
Ending her post, she thanked Jaclyn for taking care of her on set and expressed how much she will miss her.
"Salamat sa mga tips, pag-alaga mo sakin na parang ate kita talaga. Nabawasan na naman ng isang magaling at de kalibreng aktor ang industriya. Mamimiss namin ang nag-iisang Jacklyn Jose," she added.
Dimples Romana is also one of the many celebrities that Jaclyn Jose has worked with.
On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of her and Jaclyn from a scene in the 2001 movie "Minsan May Isang Puso."
"Lost another true icon," Dimples began in the caption.
She then looked back to all the laughter, the lessons Jaclyn "generously taught her as a young actor."
"Mahal kita at laging yayakap ng mahigpit. You will never be forgotten," Dimples said.
Ice Seguerra also mourned for Jaclyn’s passing and remembered the actress' kindness to his wife, Liza.
"Hindi ako makapaniwala. Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal mo kay Liza," he wrote. "Nakikiramay ako sa pamilya at sa lahat nang nagmamahal sa nag-iisang Jaclyn Jose. Napakalaking kawalan sa buong industriya."
Alden Richards, who worked with Jaclyn in "Mundo Mo'y Akin," also paid his own tribute to the actress, saying his "heart aches like a son who lost his mom."
"You will be with me always. I love you my Tita Jane," he wrote, along with an old selfie of them together.
Martin Del Rosario also took to Instagram to honor Jaclyn, one of the stars he said he truly looks up to.
"Rest in Peace, Tita Jane," he wrote along with a photo of him and Jaclyn from a scene in a GMA mini-series.
Andrea Torres, who played the daughter of Jaclyn in the Kapuso series "The Better Woman" in 2019, wrote a heartfelt message for the late actress.
"Ang daming pumapasok sa isip ko. Ang dami mong naiwan sa 'kin Nay. Alam mo kung gaano ka kahalaga sa akin at gaano kita kamahal at yun na lang ang pinanghahawakan ko," she wrote in her Instagram post, accompanied by a photo of them from one of the scenes of the Kapuso series.
"Salamat sa napakaraming alaala. Sobrang mamimiss kita. Lahat ng bilin mo sakin Nay hindi ko kakalimutan. Pipikit na lang ako at aabangan ko pa rin dun ang smile of approval mo. I love you Nay Jane. Pahinga ka na po," she added.
Jake Ejercito, who is the father of Ellie, Jaclyn's grandchild to Andi, also paid homage to the late actress.
On social media, Jake shared an old photo of Jaclyn and Ellie and simply wrote a broken heart emoji in the caption.

Jeric Gonzales, who starred in the movie "Broken Blooms" with Jaclyn honored the late actress.
"Salamat sa pag gabay Tita Jane. We love you always and forever," he wrote.
Veteran actor John Arcilla also posted a tribute to Jaclyn through an Instagram post calling her a "great actress."
"Jane," John simply wrote in the caption.
Jaclyn's death was announced by her talent management agency, PPL Entertainment, on Monday morning. She was 60 years old.
According to Jaclyn's daughter Andi Eigenmann, her mother died due to myocardial infarction or heart attack.
Born Mary Jane Guck in 1963, Jose was a versatile and hard-working actress whose work in film and television captivated Filipino audiences for four decades.
