Sarah Geronimo to receive Billboard Women in Music's Global Force Award
Billboard is set to honor Sarah Geronimo in its upcoming Women in Music Awards.
In an announcement, Billbaord said Sarah will receive the Global Force Award.
Sarah is the first Filipino to be awarded at the event.
More honorees include Karol G with Woman of the Year, Ice Spice with Hitmaker, NewJeans with Group of the Year, and Victoria Monet with Rising Star.
According to Billboard, the awards honor women across generations and music genres who define today’s sound.
The Billboard Women in Music Awards will be held on March 1 in Los Angeles, California.
Sarah released the song "Treading Water" with Bamboo in 2023.
She is known for songs like the viral "Tala," and the iconic "Forever's Not Enough," among many others.
