Pia Magalona posts throwback photo with Francis M. for Valentine's Day

Pia Magalona took to social media to remember her late husband, Francis M. for Valentine's Day.

Sharing a throwback photo of her and Francis together, Pia wrote down lines from the song “My Funny Valentine,” saying that Francis loved singing the songs by Frank Sinatra.

“My funny valentine/Sweet comic valentine/You make me smile with my heart/Your looks are laughable/Unphotographable/Yet you’re my favorite work of art,” her caption said.

“Francis loved to sing Frank Sinatra, so here’s a song by ol’ blue eyes (for the ol’ red or pinkeye lol) that best fits this photo of him. I love you,” Pia added.

Francis M. died in 2009 due to Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.

They had six children together, Maxene, Frank, Saab, Elmo, Arkin, and Clara, and Francis’ stepchildren, Unna and Niccolo.
