Andi Eigenmann joins her first surfing competition: 'What a surreal and super fun experience'

Andi Eigenmann is over the moon after taking part in her first official surfing competition.

The actress and content creator participated in the 10th Single and Unattached competition in La Union. She competed in the same division as her fiance Philmar Alipayo, who took the win!

“I remember coming to their event back in 2018 and this was the time I got hooked into surfing. 6 years later, here I am!” Andi wrote on Instagram, sharing pictures from the event.

To Philmar, she said, “I'm in awe of your dedication to always do so well in everything you choose to do, Mahal. You inspire me always!”

She also thanked Philmar for supporting and coaching her.

“What a surreal and super fun experience! I'll be heading home with only more love for this sport, that has brought me and @chepoxz together. (What a sick way to celebrate Valentine's Day!)”

Andi and her family live in Siargao. Called The Happy Islanders, they are composed of Andi, Philmar, Lilo, Koa, and Ellie, Andi’s daughter with former partner Jake Ejercito.

Andi and Philmar own the Happy Islanders Café and Surf Shop, the bar Barbosa Siargao, and the Kanaway Snack Bar.
