Sitti meets Jason Dhakal: 'Forever bonded by 'Para sa Akin''
Sitti and Jason Dhakal have finally met!
The two musicians met up at Jason’s gig at Tago Jazz in Quezon City. It was his first show for a tour and Sitti was his special guest.
On Instagram, Sitti shared a photo of the two of them and wrote, “Forever bonded by ‘Para sa Akin.’"
"Happy to finally meet you, @jasondhakal!!” she added. “Thank you again for covering the song so marvelously."
Sitti also said that she was excited to share the stage with Jason.
“Looking forward to hearing your smooth vocals live!!” she said.
Sitti is the hitmaker behind the Bossanova hit “Para Sa Akin,” which was released in 2006. Meanwhile, Jason’s sweet cover has been making waves in recent months.
Sitti will be joining Jason’s gigs in Subic on February 14 and Pasig on February 18 this February.
She is the singer behind classics like “Tattooed on My Mind,” “Till There Was You,” and “I Didn’t Know I Was Looking for Love.”
Jason released his latest album "BEING" in September 2023. More of his top songs include "Body & Soul," "Lifetime (Dimension)," and his rendition of the Hotdog classic "Manila."
