Ruru Madrid is filled with love and gratitude following this week's high ratings of "Black Rider."

The Kapuso Primetime Action Hero expressed his thanks in an Instagram post along with photos on the set with the cast and crew.

Ruru started his post by thanking Kapuso viewers for their support.

“Kayo po ang dahilan ng tagumpay na ito. Napaka sarap sa puso na parami na ng parami ang sumasama sa aming byahe. Kaya maraming salamat po sa inyo.”

The actor added that it’s not just the numbers or ratings that make a successful series, but the process and wholeheartedness that come with making it.

“Napakarami ko pong natutunan at patuloy na natututunan sa programa na ito, kaya dun palang panalong panalo na ako,” he said.

Add to that would be the skills and dedication of the whole team behind the show, “na syang nagbibigay sakin ng inspirasyon na paghusayan lalo ang aking ginagawa, hindi lamang dito sa ‘Black Rider’ kundi sa lahat ng mga proyektong gagawin ko pa.”

Ruru promised to continue to be part of projects that give happiness and inspiration to viewers.

“[Pangako] na patuloy naming pagbubutihin ang aming ginagawa at gagamitin ang aming programa para maging boses ng mga Pilipino na patuloy na lumalaban sa hamon ng buhay,” he said.

In “Black Rider,” Ruru plays Elias Guerrero, a delivery rider with a troubled past who helps those in need. The series also tackles themes of social class, and how the rich use their power to challenge the lives of the poor.

He previously said the role is a dream come true and has teased more exciting episodes.

The action-drama series has been leading primetime ratings.
