Manila Luzon fangirls over Vice Ganda: 'I met Filipino royalty!'

Manila Luzon was glowing with happiness during her guesting on “It’s Showtime,” and one of the reasons for that is because she finally met Vice Ganda.
On Instagram, the Filipino-American drag artist posted a selfie with Vice with the caption: “I met Filipino Royalty!”
Manila said that she became a fan of everybody's favorite Meme when she learned that she is an LGBTQIA+ icon and one of the biggest names in the country.
“I’ve been such a fan of Vice Ganda for years from when I first heard that one of the most successful, most celebrated, most famous celebrities in the Philippines was a leader of the Filipino LGBTQ+ community, and a TRUE QUEEN!” Manila said.
“I fan-girled so hard !!!” she added. “Thank you @praybeytbenjamin for supporting @dragdenph and inviting me to @itsshowtimena.”
Manila also posted a heartwarming clip of her dancing with Vice during the “It’s Showtime” opening theme song.
During Manila’s guesting, Vice revealed that they had been messaging each other on Instagram for a while, but had only met in person at the noontime show.
Manila wore her iconic pineapple gown and performed Whitney Houston's "I'm Every Woman."
Manila Luzon was named Best Entertainment Host for her work on “Drag Den Philippines” at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in Singapore last December, and Best Entertainment Presenter at Asian TV Awards in January.
The second season of “Drag Den Philippines” premiered on Prime Video in January and is grander than ever with a new set of rules, a new den, and a lot of new challenges.
The 10 competing queens are Deja, Elvira, Feyvah Fatale, Jean Vilogue, Margaux, Maria Lava, Marlyn, Moi, Mrs Tan, and Russia Fox.
NAIA was named the ultimate Drag Supreme in the series’ first season.
