Yasmien Kurdi's daughter Ayesha is just like her mom in her school performance
Yasmien Kurdi proudly shared that her daughter, Ayesha Zara, was invited to perform at one of her school’s events.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actress uploaded the 11-year-old girl’s impressive performance, where she sang Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night Away.”
“Proud of you AZ! parang ginagaya mo ang mga da moves ni mama sa out of town shows ah,” Yasmien wrote in the caption. “Love ya!”
Netizens then commented that Ayesha reminds them of Yasmien.
“Wow galing!! parang younger version mo din!” a user commented, followed by another’s “Mini me mo talaga ate yas.”
Yasmien started her showbiz career when she joined “StarStruck” in 2003, and won the First Princess title.
In a previous interview with GMA News Online, Yasmien said that her daughter has been giving her “hints” that she's also interested in joining the showbiz industry.
"Tingnan natin kapag nakapag-aral siya, OK lang naman sa akin, wala namang problema kung magiging artista din si Ayesha," Yasmien said.
It is indeed undeniable that Ayesha is also talented like her mom. In May last year, she won first place in her school's singing contest and in April, she did a piano recital.
Ayesha is Yasmien’s first child with her husband, Rey Soldevilla.
Soon, they will welcome the newest addition to their family after announcing in November that Yasmien is pregnant with baby number 2.
