'Pulang Araw' cast to be joined by big time actor, Sanya Lopez says

A big time actor is set to join the cast of "Pulang Araw!"

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Sanya Lopez shared some updates on the upcoming historical action-drama series.

According to the actress, another actor will join her, Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, and David Licauco on the show.

"Naku, abangan nila kung ano ba'ng magaganap doon sa bagong paparating na kakampi ba o kalaban? So abangan," she said.

The Sparkle star also said she was amazed at how the "Pulang Araw" production recreated the surroundings during World War II.

"Talagang ibinabalik nila sa panahon nung 1940s 'yung location namin eh. Ang ganda. Kahit kami talagang 'pag pumupunta kami, naa-amaze kami," Sanya said.

She said that she, Barbie, and Alden have already filmed together, while David is yet to join them on set.

"Kaming tatlo nina Alden and Barbie, magkakasama na kami sa isang eksena, so OK naman kami. Si David hindi pa namin nakakasama dahil may dahilan po 'yun, may dahilan," Sanya said.

Aside from "Pulang Araw," Sanya also has an upcoming film titled "Playtime." Sanya will also reprise her role as Danaya in "Sang'gre."
